Hello! My name is Jemma. I’m a qualified teacher with over five years’ experience working in both primary and secondary schools. I’m calm, reliable and enjoy creating a warm, engaging atmosphere where children feel safe and happy. My Experience
I’ve taught in secondary schools for several years, including 1.5 years working in a primary setting, supporting children across a range of ages and abilities. I currently work as a History teacher at a prep school in Central London. Alongside teaching, I’ve provided face-to-face tutoring for children aged 3–5, focusing on early literacy, numeracy and confidence-building through play. My experience in education means I’m confident managing behaviour, supporting learning, and ensuring children feel cared for and supported while parents are away.
My Qualifications
Undergraduate Degree in Philosophy from the University of Leeds
PGCE in Secondary Education (Religious Studies)
First Aid and Defibrillator Trained with Red Cross

My availability is flexible during the summer holidays.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £18.00 per hour
- Tutoring from £40.00 per hour
Additional rates for any at-home tutoring required.
