About Me
We have two (well behaved and cheerful!) daughters 4 and 6 years old. With now the arrival of a son (who will be going to nursery) we are looking for some help with our daughters. We both work full time, though I tend to work from home and with notice can be a bit flexible with my hours.
My Requirements
We need some help with our two girls (4 and 6 years old) during term time. We would like to start this as soon as possible, but it must be place when I am going back to work from parental leave in February. We can be a bit flexible with what this looks like for the right person and it doesn't have to be everyday. We live in St Marys Fields in the centre of Colchester just over from the mercury theatre.
For example one possibility could be someone to take them to North primary school in Colchester City Centre in the morning allowing me to start earlier and then finish earlier, say helping them finish getting ready from 07:30, walking short distance to school and dropping them off at 08:40.
Or another pattern could be picking up both girls from school 15:00 and bring them home. Give them some food and spend a nice time with them, ideally till 18:00. A bit of home learning such as practicing their reading would be a plus. As would giving them a bath, getting them ready for bed etc.
We are looking to do a trial period then start as soon as possible to have everything set up and running smoothly for February.
Other pros would be the ability to drive them to clubs and activities in the future and look after our son when he is a bit older too.
