About Me
I am currently on my gap year and am planning to study Economics and Politics at the University of Bristol starting September 2026. I am an ad hoc lifeguard working 2-3 shifts per week.
I have two very hectic brothers who are 5 and 8 years old as well as an 11 year old sister. I babysit them very often and I read to them, I teach my brothers phonics and help all of my siblings with homework. I place a lot of priority on limiting screen time for my siblings so I often think of fun, interactive activities to do with them: painting, reading, puzzles, baking, role play, botanic garden walks, and gardening! With my sister who is older than the boys, I have been teaching her how to embroider cute designs with sequins and thread. I also babysit other children regularly- my babysitting is focused on enriching and educational activities for the kids, not just passing the time until the parents get home!
I currently live with my girlfriend in Clifton near Queen’s Road. We have been living together for about two years. We are young but are building a life of financial independence! We love plants and have more than 50 houseplants which we propagate and take care of ourselves! We love long autumnal walks, cooking Thai food, baking, reading, sewing, climbing, and art. We both are very involved in running public art activities for the University of Bristol such as art workshops and outdoor painting sessions, so we have loads of art supplies at home which my siblings love! We are both wanting to become teachers and have loads of experience working as a regular nanny, so we are very passionate about making sure that children have a fun and fulfilling childhood!
My Experience
I have been babysitting since I was 14 years old and have looked after a variety of kids. I started with my younger sibling who are currently five, eight, and eleven. While babysitting for various families I looked after up to 5 children and have babysat for up to seven hours. During these jobs I have had responsibilities such as preparing dinner, reading, playing, helping with homework, cleaning around the house, and putting the kids to bed.
I hold an enhanced DBS check and have many references from regular babysitting jobs that I have. I also have first aid training for my lifeguarding job which includes paediatric specific first aid. Due to the nature of my monthly staff trainings, I am regularly keeping in check with my first aid knowledge through practising rescue scenarios.
I am great with cooking and meal prepping a variety of foods and I can cater to allergies and dietary requirements. I am also great with cleaning and have worked cleaning jobs before! Happy to do school drop offs and pickups. I haven’t got a car yet and I will be taking my driving test in early November, at which point I may be more flexible with farther journeys.

- RSSL UK National Pool Lifeguard generation 10 (including first aid training)
My Availability
I am happy to do no-pressure trial shifts with parents at home to make sure that you are comfortable and that the chemistry is right. I can even cook for you to show how good it can be when I meal prep! From there, I am very flexible about shifts! I really only can’t do Thursday evenings, which is when I have my dressmaking class!

- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
- Nannying from £12.00 per hour (gross)
