About Me

Hi! I’m Shamara , I’m 20 years old and based in Gloucester. I’m passionate about providing safe, reliable, and nurturing childcare for families in my community. In my free time, you’ll usually find me with a good book or in the kitchen cooking and baking — and I love sharing those interests with kids through stories or fun little activities.

I have a cat and am great with all kinds of pets, so your furry friends are always welcome around me ?. I pride myself on being calm, kind, and dependable, and I always aim to make children feel safe and happy.

My Experience

I have over 3 years of experience in childcare, working with children aged 0–5 years, including those with SEND needs and from EAL familiesI enjoy involving children in fun, meaningful activities such as cooking and baking, and I love setting up age-appropriate activities that support their development — including messy play, which I believe is a brilliant way for little ones to learn through exploration

My Qualifications

I’m DBS checked, First Aid trained, and currently working towards my NVQ in Childcare, which reflects my commitment to building a career in childcare and offering families the highest standard of care.

My Availability

I am available within the evenings and overnight care with continuous monitoring of children whilst maintaining safe sleep guidelines.
