About Me
We’re a friendly, relaxed family living in Guildford. I’m a single dad with two young boys — full of energy, imagination, and laughter. My eldest is 4.5 years old and on the autism spectrum (high-functioning); he’s curious, affectionate, and thrives with calm, consistent routines. His younger brother loves joining in on playtime too.
We’re a warm, easy-going household that values kindness, patience, and good communication. The boys are happiest when they’re outdoors, building, or getting creative, and we’re looking for someone who fits naturally into that caring, supportive environment.
My Requirements
I’m looking for a part-time nanny to help care for my 4.5-year-old son on Wednesdays and Thursdays, with the potential to add Fridays later on.
Starting in November and runs through the afternoons from 1pm to 5pm. School finishes at 12pm, so I’ll handle collection initially, with the option for you to take over pick-ups once my son is comfortable.
The role mainly involves spending time with him at home — playing, reading, or doing calm, engaging activities. It’s important that you can offer a reassuring and patient presence while keeping things fun and relaxed.
Being able to drive is a bonus but not essential. Experience with children on the autism spectrum is helpful yet not essential, above all I’m looking for someone gentle, reliable, and nurturing.
