About Me
My name’s T, and I’m a local childminder with over 15 years’ experience working in early childhood education. I live in Bath with my wife Ali, who’s a speech and language therapist, and our twin one-year-old boys, Suni and Kiri. Life is busy and full of fun in our home!
I’m originally from Cambodia and love sharing my culture with the children I care for—whether that’s through food, music, stories, or celebrations. I believe children learn best when they’re doing real, everyday things like cooking, cleaning, and exploring outside. I focus a lot on helping little ones build independence, develop their social and emotional skills, and stay curious about the world around them.
My Experience
I have 15 years experience working in the education sector. When I was living in Cambodia I worked as a primary school teacher, then a head teacher in an international school and finally i set up a speech and language therapy business with my wife. We provided therapy to children in our local area and training to school staff and families on how to support children's communication skills. Since moving to the UK in April 2021 I have been working in First Steps Moorlands nursery and achieved my Childcare Level 3 Diploma. I was registered with Ofsted to become a childminder in September 2025.

NVQ level 3 in early year education

My Availability
I am available Mondays Wednesdays, Thursdays and Friday all year round.
8am - 5pm with minimum of 8 hours per day
I provide health homemade food at a charge of £5 per day.
I accept funded and paid for hours.
