After-School Nanny/Childminder Needed – Bexley (DA5)
We are looking for a caring, patient, and dependable nanny to care for our 12 year twins, one of whom requires 1 to 1 care support.
She is a cheeky, happy child who loves playing and being kept busy. She has cerebral palsy and is a wheelchair user. Due to her capabilities, tasks would include preparing her meals, feeding her, all aspects of self care as she is unable to use a toilet, moving her from her wheelchair to seated equipment with the assistance of a hoist (full training can be provided) and spending time to help her draw and play. It would also require preparing the same meal for her twin sister who is entirely independent.
Full training will be provided, but it is expected that the successful candidate has an eDBS in place.
Details:
A minimum of Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 16.00 to 18.15. While we are looking for someone who can work a minimum of 6.75 hours per week after school, we can offer more hours to a candidate that could work later than 18.15 or at weekends or during school holidays.

The role is based in our family home where our daughter is collected from and dropped off by school based transport.

Start date asap.
The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude, excellent communication skills and be willing to help and support the family around the home and generally muck in.
