About Me
I am an experienced childminder I have worked in schools, as a babysitter and as an Aupair. I have a Bachelor's degree in educational and developmental psychology and a Masters in Theatre (I know a bit out of left field). I am looking to get some more work experience before I apply to Norland College for a September 2026 start.
I have always been drawn to child care work but after a Bachelor's degree during COVID-19 I wanted to explore my other interests (hence the Master's degree), but now I am so ready to get back and work with children to help them develop and achieve their best potential through fun activities and play.
I love animals, theatre and nature. I do Swing Dance and I love to swim.
I can speak 5 languages (to various degrees of fluency): English, French, Spanish and Italian (and of course Portuguese).
I am organised and a clear comunicator, I enjoy cleaning, cooking and baking and I don't mind taking care of pets.
I have the right to work with my Pre-settled status (will become Settled status Nov. 2025), I have a DBS check and I am fully up to date on all my vaccines.
My Experience
I am currently an aupair for a baby in Oxford. But recently I tend to help my sister with the baby whenever I visit her, I have worked in school settings as a volunteer teaching assistant and I worked for a family in Cambridge in 2022, where I took care of two children ages 8-11. I have previously babysat family friend's children, generally aged from 4 to 12. I used to cook dinner sometimes and help the younger ones with self care tasks they couldn't yet perform by themselves. I am happy to read bedtime stories, help with self-regulation and generally just be a shoulder to rest a head on when the day has been hard.
My Qualifications
I have a bachelors degree in Educational psychology
I have a DBS check, Level 2 Food Hygiene & Safety and Fire safety training
I am getting my full Level 3 pediatric first aid on the 2/11/2025
And I am starting to work on an Early Childhood Masters
My Availability
Nannying is my full time job, I am avaliable from monday to Friday 9am-5pm although I am happy to negotiate with families who have different needs.
I am also happy to do occasional work on the weekends or nights so you can have a night out

My Fees
- Babysitting from £16.00 per hour
£16/hr for day work, going up to £20 for overnight work, I am willing to be slightly flexible on my overnight rate.
