My Experience

I am a passionate early years practitioner with six years of experience working as a nursery teacher, predominantly with children aged 0–5. I love creating caring, safe and stimulating environments where children feel happy, confident and supported to learn and develop.

I also have experience working with children up to the age of 12 through my time in a primary school. Over the past year, I have been working as a nanny for an 18-month-old child, which has allowed me to build on my experience of providing individual care and supporting a child’s development through everyday activities and play.

I am currently in my final year at the University of Edinburgh, studying Childhood Practice, with the aim of progressing further in the early years sector.

Throughout my experience, I have supported children with additional support needs and feel confident adapting activities and care to meet each child’s individual needs. I believe every child is unique and deserves to feel safe, valued and encouraged to reach their full potential.

I understand that parents know their children best, and I believe building positive relationships with families is an important part of providing the best care. In my early years roles, I have worked closely with families, valuing their knowledge and input to plan activities that support their child’s interests, learning and development.

I am also trained in First Aid.

My Availability

I am available 1 or 2 days a week for nannying preferably 8 plus hours.
My availability varies for babysitting.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £19.00 per hour
• Nannying from £19.00 per hour (gross)
