About Me
I was recently called ‘The Baby Whisperer’ which I kind of love! I really enjoy supporting families at the most exciting, terrifying, blissful, chaotic, dreamy, caffeine fuelled time in your life! Having a baby is wonderful and also really hard. I get it, I am a mother of 3, a nurse and trained to be a doula (birth and postnatal) in 2022 so that I can support you practically and emotionally as you adapt to your changing family whether 2 is becoming 3, 4 or more. I can help with childcare (I am paediatric first aid qualified), household tasks, cook nutritious meals and anything that just makes life easier for you and so that you don’t feel alone on your journey. I can support you with infant feeding, sleep, baby wearing and other things that are key in those first 3 months of life. I am here for you and with you in whatever capacity you need.
I am also available for evening babysitting (all ages) if you need any evening off!
My Experience
I am a nurse by background and have since undertaken extensive training to care for families before, during and after birth. I have had the privilege of supporting many families in Stratford upon Avon and the surrounding area during the newborn and 4th trimester period. I am a mother of 3 children (2 grown up boys and a primary aged daughter). My son has autism and attends a specialist school and so I have lots of experience with SEN children too.
My Qualifications
Registered nurse by background. Doula training (birth and postnatal), Baby Massage, Early Years First Aid (St John Ambulance), Infant Feeding & Tongue Tie Assessment, Baby Wearing, Starting Solids and more
My Availability
Please contact me for availability. I am flexible and can work any day / time including overnight (for when you just need a good nights sleep!) depending on which families I am already supporting. I often provide short term and ad hoc support and so my availability varies.
