About Me
I grew up in sunny Lancashire before moving to London for nearly six years. I recently moved back up north and have settled into Manchester life. I work as an actor and also run a workshop business with my friend (we host ceramic and painting workshops for adults!). I've also spent the last three years as a children's drama and arts teacher for theatres, museums, and creative companies. I have a huge passion for the arts and have been a professional storyteller (yes, that's a real job, I promise) for nearly three years.
I've led more drama and writing workshops than I can count. Not to mention art classes, I love seeing how imaginative little ones can be! I also have a keen interest in the outdoors and have played football since primary school, so I love a kickabout in the garden or park after school when the weather's good!
My Experience
I've been babysitting since I was 13 for local families and family friends. This included cooking tea, entertaining the children, helping with homework, and putting them to bed. I mainly worked with two children at a time doing this; however, I've worked with three too.
I've also run a lot of creative workshops for groups of x8-30 children ages 1-16. This involved planning, delivering, and writing reports on the workshops. I have great experience working with a range of children and fostering a creatively led environment.

Ciara helped me out with our crèche service for a conference in Manchester City centre. She came at relatively short notice and her professionalism shone through. She was well-liked by the children and acted on initiative keeping all the children occupied with various activities during the weekend. She was punctual and kept parents updated with anything that they needed to know. I can highly recommend Ciara.
