We were lucky enough to have Claire care for our 2-year-old while our regular childminder was on maternity leave, and I can honestly say she was an absolute gem.
From the very beginning, my little one felt safe, happy, and completely at ease in her care. He quickly bonded not just with her, but with her lovely family too — he would come home full of stories, smiles, and excitement about his day. It was clear he was thriving in her nurturing and playful environment, and as a parent, that kind of peace of mind is priceless.
Leaving was genuinely hard for us. We were sad to say goodbye and often found ourselves wishing we could have stayed longer. The warmth, structure, and joy she brought to our son’s days made a lasting impression on all of us.
Even after our time with her ended, she continued to be incredibly supportive — especially when our original childminder let us down. She went out of her way to help us, showing just how much she cares about the families she works with.
We would highly recommend Claire to anyone looking for a kind, reliable, and truly special childminder. She gave our son a safe and loving space to grow, and we’ll always be grateful for the time we spent with her.

I honestly have nothing but amazing things to say about Angie. We found ourselves in a tough spot needing emergency childcare for our nearly 3-year-old after being let down by our previous childminder. Although she couldn’t commit long-term, she kindly offered to take him over the October holidays as she had space — giving us the breathing room we desperately needed to find a more permanent solution.
From the moment he arrived, my son felt safe, welcomed, and truly cared for. Angie created such a warm and loving environment that he settled in instantly — something we didn’t expect after the last experience. Three weeks on, and he’s still talking about going to see Angie, which speaks volumes about the impact she had on him.
If you ever get the opportunity to have this incredible human look after your little ones — jump at it. Her home is a haven filled with engaging activities, delicious home-cooked meals, and a sense of safety and joy that every child deserves.
Thank you SO much, Angie. You restored our faith in childminders and reminded us that there are truly extraordinary people out there.
