My Experience

As an Ofsted-registered childminder, I am dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where young children can learn and develop at their own pace.
My approach is built around patience, kindness, encouragement and understanding. I recognise that every child develops differently, so I take time to observe their progress, understand their individual interests and provide opportunities to build on their existing skills.
I enjoy supporting children's communication and language, confidence, social development, creativity, physical skills and independence through everyday experiences and carefully chosen play activities.
I understand the importance of helping children learn to share, take turns, express their feelings, develop positive relationships and become more confident in trying new things. I use encouragement, clear boundaries and positive interactions to support their emotional wellbeing and behaviour.
I value working in partnership with parents, sharing observations and celebrating each child's progress and achievements.
My passion is to help every child feel that they belong, that their efforts matter and that learning can be an exciting adventure. I want children to leave my setting with happy memories, growing confidence and a strong foundation for their next stage of learning.

My Qualifications

I am an Ofsted-registered childminder and have completed the required registration process to provide childcare in my home setting. I have undertaken relevant training to support my knowledge of children's safety, safeguarding, welfare and early learning. I am also registered with Bradford Council and committed to maintaining my training and developing my knowledge to provide high-quality childcare. I believe in continually learning and improving my practice to ensure every child receives safe, nurturing and supportive care at Toddle Star Childcare. I have completed training in paediatric first aid, safeguarding, food hygiene and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), alongside my relevant childcare qualifications. I am also a member of PACEY (Professional Association for Childcare and Early Years) and am currently undertaking continuing professional development (CPD) courses to expand my knowledge and strengthen my practice. I am passionate about continually developing my skills to ensure every child receives the best possible support for their safety, wellbeing, learning and development at Toddle Star Childcare.

My Availability

Places currently available at Toddle Star Childcare, Bradford!
I currently have the following sessions available, Monday to Friday:
Morning places: 8:45am–11:45am — 2 places available.
Afternoon place: 12:00pm–3:00pm — 1 place available.
I welcome enquiries from parents looking for regular childcare in a warm, caring home-based setting where children can play, learn and thrive.
Eligible funded childcare may be available, subject to your child's eligibility and the applicable funding arrangements.

Childcare Fees & Funding – Toddle Star Childcare
At Toddle Star Childcare, I welcome enquiries from families looking for both funded and privately paid childcare.
Eligible funded childcare places are available, subject to eligibility and local authority funding arrangements.
For privately paid childcare, fees depend on the sessions required and your child's individual childcare arrangements. I am happy to discuss my rates with parents and explain all costs clearly before a place is confirmed.
My aim is to provide a warm, nurturing and stimulating environment where every child feels safe, valued and encouraged to learn through play.
