Part Time Nanny Job in Southend-on-Sea
About Me
We are a friendly family living in Thorpe Bay, Southend-on-Sea, with two lovely young daughters aged 3 and 6.
We are looking for a caring, reliable and experienced nanny to become a regular part of our family routine. We have previously had an evening nanny for the past 12 months, which worked extremely well for us, and are now looking for someone to continue that arrangement.
We value someone who is warm, patient, trustworthy and genuinely enjoys spending time with young children. We hope to build a positive, long-term relationship with the right person.
My Requirements
We are looking for a regular evening nanny to care for our two daughters, aged 3 and 6, five evenings per week, Monday to Friday, from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm.
The main responsibility will be overseeing their evening routine and getting them settled into bed. This will include helping with pyjamas, teeth brushing, bedtime stories and ensuring they are safely and happily settled for the night.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience caring for young children, ideally at least two years' nannying experience.
- Is warm, patient, responsible and reliable.
- Is confident managing bedtime routines independently.
- Can commit to the same regular hours, five evenings per week.
- Can provide excellent references and has an appropriate DBS check.
- This is a permanent, part-time, sole-charge position in Thorpe Bay.
We are hoping to find someone who can build a good relationship with our daughters and become a trusted and consistent part of their routine. We are happy to discuss pay depending on experience and suitability.
