I’m a childcare professional from the United States with several years of experience teaching preschool and working with children of various ages. I hold CPR certification and have completed safeguarding training. Families describe me as kind, reliable, and creative — I love supporting children’s emotional and developmental growth through play and routine.
My Experience
I love children and have always been drawn to them! I taught preschool from 2020-2023 and during this time I noticed that many of the children's social emotional needs were not being met. This inspired me to create my own social emotional program for children called "I'm So Glad You're Here". I started to perform this in parks, and eventual paired up with a local children's museum where I performed for young children and their families in Philadelphia. I have ample babysitting experience and genuinely enjoy spending time with young children.
My most recent job was working as an educational program coordinator at WHYY (Philadelphia's PBS/NPR affiliate) where I hosted community and family friendly workshops, literacy programming, and planned events. I also wrote curriculum for our original children's pre-k program as well.
I am planning to go back to school to become a therapist and am interested in specializing and working with children. As I make this transition from the US to the UK, I'd love to find babysitting opportunities while applying to schools and finding work in mental health adjacent settings.
My Qualifications
I have provided childcare for families for over 15 years! I love children and have experience primarily with children ages 0-10. I taught preschool for 2 years, am CPR certified, and also am certified in Safeguarding through NSPCC.
My Availability
My wife and I fly out on November 3rd, and I am available to start working the following week (Monday, Nov 10th). I am looking for something part time, approximately 25-30 hours per week. I am flexible and am also open to weekend work as well!
