About Me

I am a post-graduate student studying Speech and language therapy at the University of Reading. I am based in Wokingham and I am free during evenings and on Weekends. I am into sports, notably football and badminton, but I am also passionate about music, board games, video games and reading! I'm lots of fun but I am also responsible, patient and considerate.

My Experience

During my undergraduate degree in psychology and my A-levels, I worked across a large variety of roles in child-care. From afterschool and holiday clubs, to working as a TA in a special needs school (SEN), to even working in a trampoline and rock climbing park! I have enjoyed working with children for nearly 6 years now and I truly enjoy working with children and I pride myself on this!

My Qualifications

I am DBS certified. I have an Undergraduate Bsc in Psychology and I am currently completing my Masters course in Speech and Language therapy.

My Availability

As a post-graduate student, I have a very busy timetable with lectures during the weekdays that typically last until either 5 or 6pm. Currently my commute is 1 hour from the University back to my house in Wokingham but once I get my parking permit this will become about a 20 minute commute. I have football training from 7-8pm on Fridays, otherwise no set times during the evenings where I am unavailable.

Although I have much work experience with neurotypical and neurodivergent children, I have yet to professionally work as a babysitter/childminder, so I believe £13/hour is a fair fee
