Hi! I’m a friendly and patient private tutor with a background in linguistics and maths education. I offer personalised lessons in Mandarin, GCSE Maths, and Primary SATs preparation. My teaching focuses on building confidence, understanding, and enjoyment in learning. I always adapt my lessons to each child’s needs and pace, making sure concepts are explained clearly and practice feels encouraging. • 17 years of teaching experience in China, working with students of different ages and learning needs.
• 2 years of experience teaching Mandarin in UK primary schools.
• Worked as a Maths Tutor in primary settings, supporting pupils with their learning and confidence.
• Currently completing a PGCE in Secondary Maths, developing strong understanding of the UK curriculum and classroom practice.
