My Requirements

We are seeking a reliable, nurturing childcare provider to support our morning routine and school drop-off.

Hours & Schedule

Start: 8:00am (Monday–Friday)

Finish: After school drop-off at 12:45pm

Occasional flexibility appreciated with notice.


About the Child

Warm, curious, and energetic; thrives with calm structure, clear routines, and positive encouragement.

Enjoys creative play, outdoor time, and storybooks.

Needs consistent transitions leading up to school drop-off.


Responsibilities

Morning care from 8:00am: breakfast, gentle get-ready routine, play/learning activities.

Prepare school bag, snack/water, and ensure uniform is ready.

Safe, punctual drop-off for 12:45pm (allowing adequate travel time).

Keep a brief daily handover (mood, meals, any notes from school).

Light tidy-up of child-related items before departure.


Essential Requirements

Proven childcare experience with references.

Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain) and right to work in the UK.

Up-to-date Paediatric First Aid (or booked within 4 weeks).

Confident, safe driver or comfortable with public transport (fully insured if driving).

Excellent punctuality, communication, and a calm, patient approach.

Understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality.

Nice to Have

Early years knowledge or SEN awareness.
Ideas for simple, engaging morning activities.
