About Me
I am a married 36 year old Father of two little girls, one 3 and one 4 months. We live in the village of Little Wymondley and regularly go to Hitchin, Letchworth and Stevenage to do activities or grab coffees with our little ones. My wife is a teacher although currently on maternity leave until May 2026 and I am an airline captain. Our 3 year old daughter currently goes to a childminder in Stevenage 3 days a week.
My Requirements
Our 3 year old was born in early September so just misses out on going to school in September 2026. Therefore, to expose her to a more 'school' like environment, we want to get her into a school nursery from September 2026 until July 2027. We are looking at putting her in 5 days a week however both myself and my wife work Mondays and Tuesdays so we require wrap around childcare and drop off/pick up from a nursery in either Hitchin, Stevenage or potentially Knebworth on those days. We would require care from 08:00-09:00 with a drop off at 9 and pick up from 14:45-15:00 and care until 17:00. So approximately 6-7 hours a week. For the right person, it is possible that we could use the same provider for our youngest who will be 1 by September ‘26 for the whole day on Monday and Tuesdays.
