About Me
Hi! I’m Lucy.
I’m a mum of two lovely little girls with a two-year age gap. I first began my career working in a nursery, where I developed a real passion for early years development and learning through play. After spending some time in admin, I started my own journey into motherhood, which deepened my understanding of how children grow, explore, and thrive in nurturing environments.
I’ve always loved getting outdoors and exploring with my children — whether that’s wandering through local forests, going for walks, or simply enjoying fresh air and open space. I believe nature is one of the best classrooms, offering endless opportunities for children to learn, imagine, and build confidence.
In my childminding setting, I aim to create a calm, home-from-home atmosphere where little ones feel safe, supported, and inspired to explore the world around them, both indoors and out.
My training and qualifications should be completed by January.
My Experience
I started my career working in a nursery, where I developed a strong understanding of early years development and the importance of learning through play. Alongside this, I used to volunteer at Fox Hollies Forum, spending my spare time supporting children in various activities, something I absolutely loved and that strengthened my passion for working with little ones.
After moving into admin work for a while, I became a mum to two wonderful girls, which gave me even more hands-on experience and a deeper appreciation for how children grow and thrive in nurturing environments.
My Qualifications
I have early years training and I’m currently completing my paediatric first aid, health and safety, fire safety, food hygiene, and safeguarding courses and with lots more CPD hours planned! I’m always learning and developing my skills to make sure the children in my care have the best and safest experience possible
My Fees
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour

- I provide drop offs and pick ups at Wythall, Meadow Green Primary
