About Me
I have worked in nurseries for just over 25 years. In this time I have raised my son (he is now 15 and Mr independent) and cared for both my infirm parents. I’ve had some big life changes, with my son becoming independent, my soon to be husband moving in and sadly losing both my
parents. These changes have made me realise that now is a good time
to take my career in a different direction, whilst still being in a job that
I love. I am hoping to move from working in nurseries to the more personal environment of a family home. I am passionate about Early Years development and love nothing more than seeing a child’s confidence flourish as they develop new skills. I will be your child’s biggest cheerleader, encouraging and supporting them along the way.
I’m a big believer in Outdoor Play - in all weather, and have spent many a day at Forrest School - maybe having more fun than the children in my care. I am updating my Paediatric first aid certificate in the coming weeks and would love the opportunity to introduce your child to Loose Parts play, I am also Bookbug Leader trained.
