My Experience
I have over three years of childcare experience through both personal and volunteer settings. I’ve cared for my nieces and nephews from infancy through school age, supporting their daily routines, playtime, learning, and emotional development.
In addition, I’ve volunteered regularly with children through my local church, where I plan and lead engaging activities such as arts and crafts, storytelling, and group games. I also support children in developing good manners, teamwork, and confidence during these sessions.
Through these experiences, I’ve gained strong skills in understanding children’s needs, managing routines, and creating a safe and happy environment. I’m comfortable caring for children of different ages, including toddlers and early school-aged kids, and I always aim to make every moment with them both fun and meaningful.
My Qualifications
-Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry (University of Ibadan, Nigeria)
-Experienced Teaching Assistant supporting early years and primary school pupils
-Childcare and children’s ministry volunteer experience (over 3 years)
-Strong understanding of child safety, hygiene, and age-appropriate care
-Skilled in organising creative and educational activities
-Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
-Basic First Aid knowledge and willingness to complete further training (including Paediatric First Aid and Safeguarding)
-Enhanced DBS in progress
