SEN Support Worker Required for Ad-hoc hours
About Me
I’m Mum to a lovely 14 year old girl who has cerebral palsy, mild vision impairments and epilepsy. My daughter is very capable and able and walks independently without any aids but can fall or trip. Her epilepsy is under controls but to keep her safe and healthy we need to prioritise rest and a regular routine. We spend a lot of time in Cornwall as have a little holiday flat there and I’m looking for a regular female nanny / carer / support worker with a minimum of 5 years SEN experience to help us out. The work may range from simple babysitting when I need to pop out / run an errand, or taking her swimming, to the beach or staying home to do some baking or cooking. The carer must be local to North Cornwall, must have 5 years childcare experience with SEN for that same period of time. You must be a confident swimmer - both in the sea and pool. Must be fun loving but know how to be firm when necessary. We spend most of the School holidays down in Cornwall so the hours will Center around those times of the year. We are coming down for a week in October (19th - 25th) and again over the Xmas hols (30th - 5th).
My Requirements
I am looking for an ad hoc SEN Nanny / carer / support worker to help out when we are visiting Cornwall to enable me to have a bit of child free time.
