About Me
A family in Wimbledon is looking for a warm, reliable and experienced permanent nanny to care for three children aged 13 months, 4 years and 6 years.
My Requirements
We are looking for a nanny who genuinely enjoys spending time with children, is proactive in organising activities and is happy to become a long-term part of our family
Hours: approximately 9am–7pm, we are flexible here
Days: Monday–Friday
Start date: 02.11.2026 (also, happy for you to work on the week beginning 19.10.26)
Occasional babysitting would be appreciated, although we can be flexible.
Responsibilities
The nanny will primarily care for our 13-month-old during the day and help with the older boys around school hours.
Responsibilities will include:
· School pick-ups with occasional drop-offs as required
· Planning fun, engaging and age-appropriate activities for our 13-month-old
· Taking him for walks and spending plenty of time outdoors. We live close to lovely parks and would particularly like someone who enjoys getting outside with the children
· Organising developmental activities such as reading, puzzles, drawing, creative play, sensory activities and games
· Helping the older boys with homework and reading
· Preparing simple, healthy meals and snacks for the children
· Children’s laundry and keeping the children’s bedrooms/play areas tidy
· Cleaning up after meals and activities
· Helping organise the children’s belongings, school bags and activities
There is no general household cleaning required. Duties are related to the children only.
Driving
A driver is essential, as the boys’ school is approximately five-ten minutes away by car but considerably longer by public transport or on foot.
The nanny would need to use their own car. Petrol/mileage and parking costs related to work will be covered, and we have a parking space directly outside the house.
About you
We are looking for someone who:
· Has previous professional nanny/childcare experience
· Has good experience caring for babies/toddlers
· Excellent spoken English, as our older children attend academically demanding schools and helping them with reading (4 year old) and homework is an important part of the role
· Is warm, patient, energetic and engaging
· Enjoys outdoor activities and taking children to parks, classes and local activities
· Is confident organising age-appropriate developmental activities
· Is a confident driver with their own car
· Is reliable, organised and proactive
· Can provide strong references
· Has an up-to-date DBS check or is willing to obtain one
· Ideally holds a paediatric first-aid certificate
We have no pets.
We are hoping to find someone looking for a long-term permanent position who will build a warm relationship with all three children and become a trusted part of family life.
Salary: from £20 per hour depending on experience
