Babysitter Job In Lewes
About Me
We are a friendly family of four living in the centre of Lewes, just a 5 minute walk from the train station. If you drive, we have parking space available on our drive. We have a small dog, she is a cavapoo.
My Requirements
Hello, we are looking for a caring and reliable babysitter to help with our 6-year-old son, who is temporarily homeschooled. He has mild autism and thrives in his home environment where he feels comfortable and supported.
The role involves being with him on:
• Thursdays (morning and afternoon) and Fridays (morning) - mainly to supervise and engage with our son between his tutoring sessions.
Our son is bright, curious and enjoys numbers and planets. We are looking for someone who is patient, engaging and fun.
We can offer live-in accommodation if travelling a few days in a row is an issue.

Dawn is a wonderful tutor who is very engaging, patient, and supportive. She tailored her sessions to my neurodivergent son’s needs and used a wide range of interactive activities, including cooking experiments that combined maths and reading skills, which kept him engaged and motivated. She also wrote clear, helpful weekly reports to track my son’s progress over time. I would highly recommend Dawn for her professionalism, creativity, and genuine care.
