My Experience

I’ve had a variety of childcare experiences over the years. I cared for a lovely 1-year-old girl two days a week for two months, helping with feeding, playtime, and sleep routines. I also worked in a hotel in the French Alps for six months, organising games and activities for children aged 8–18, as well as preparing meals and ensuring their wellbeing. In addition, I’ve regularly babysat for families with children aged 5–10 and completed six months of weekly work experience in a Year 3 classroom, assisting in lessons and running after-school clubs.

My Qualifications

While I don’t have formal childcare certifications, my hands-on experience across various age groups has given me strong practical skills in caring for children. I’m confident with routines like feeding and napping for younger children, and I know how to keep older children engaged through games, creative play, and structured activities. My experience in classroom and group settings has helped me develop patience, clear communication, and a good sense of responsibility, qualities that are essential in a nannying or babysitting role.

My Availability

I am currently helping out in a primary schools forest school on Thursdays and Fridays so I am unable to work these days.
