About Me
I am a hardworking, down to earth and caring individual. I like things just so and am extremely good with organisation of both my time and others. I have a handful of friends which I rely on for support, I also have a great work ethic, allowing me to build relationships and become a valued member of any team. I have experience working with children for birth to eighteen years in various home settings within a team or as a nanny working alongside the parents. This allowed me to gain a degree in Early Childhood Studies. Before this whilst at college I had one week’s experience working in Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU) in a local hospital; helping babies who have been born prematurely or addicted to drugs. I am a fun and proactive person that takes pride in my work and is passionate about delivering the care needed to any child (abled or disabled). I am able to set structure, routines and maintain boundaries to enable the child to develop and meet their milestones. I play hockey and rugby and enjoy being outdoors exploring.
I am also signed up to the Disclosure and Barring Update Service and have a full driving licence with no convictions.
My Experience
I have had many years of experience with babies right up to the age of 18.
These children have been either disabled, abled, in care homes, in private homes.
My Qualifications
• BA Hons Degree in Early Childhood Studies.
• BTEC National Diploma in Health and Social Care
