About Me

Hello, I'm Georgia, the owner of Nest & Nurture Childminding.

I provide a warm, nurturing, home-from-home environment where children are encouraged to learn through play, explore the world around them, and develop confidence at their own pace.

I hold a Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification, Paediatric First Aid certification, Designated Safeguarding Lead training, and additional qualifications. I have over five years of experience working within a successful childminding setting before opening my own business.

My approach is inspired by gentle, respectful childcare, where every child feels safe, valued, and understood. I believe children learn best when they feel secure and connected. This also comes from having age-appropriate boundaries in place too. I focus on building strong relationships and creating an environment that supports curiosity, independence, and emotional wellbeing.

At Nest & Nurture, our days are filled with opportunities for adventure and discovery. We enjoy regular outings to parks, nature reserves, museums, local attractions, and community groups, alongside plenty of outdoor play, creative activities, sensory experiences, story times, and child-led learning opportunities.

I care for a small number of children, allowing me to provide individual attention and tailor experiences to each child's interests and developmental needs. I work closely with families and believe strong parent partnerships are key to helping children thrive.

My aim is simple: to create a place where children feel loved, supported, and excited to learn every day.
