My Experience

I have been working in childcare and education for over 15 years, teaching across the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Key Stage 1 in both nurseries and mainstream primary schools. Throughout my career, I’ve developed a deep understanding of how young children learn best through play, exploration, and nurturing relationships. My experience has allowed me to support children at all stages of their early learning journey, helping them to build confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning. At Curious Cubs Daycare, I bring together my teaching background and passion for early education to create a warm, stimulating environment where every child can feel safe, valued, and inspired to reach their full potential.

My Qualifications

I hold a BA in Criminology and have over 15 years experience working across the EYFS and KS1. I’m qualified with EYPS (Early Years Professional Status), QTS (Qualified Teacher Status), and NPQSL (National Professional Qualification for Senior Leadership). I am also the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and hold a current Paediatric First Aid certificate. My professional background combines a strong understanding of child development, safeguarding, and educational leadership, ensuring that every child at Curious Cubs Daycare receives the highest standard of care and learning.

My Availability

I am available from 8:00-17:30pm (flexible where needed)

My Fees

• Childminding from £11.00 per hour

£110 day rate including all food, nappies and other consumables.
