My Experience

I started college (Hertford Regional College Cheshunt) in 2023 due to my studies, I have had the privilege of working in numerous nurseries and developing my communication and listening skills. While working in nurseries, I had to be quick on my feet and work in fast-paced environments, as well as managing my time well, using my initiative, and further enhancing my team-working skills. I have gained many beneficial skills whilst working in nurseries that I believe will be very useful in the workplace and during my second year I have continued to work towards further expanding my knowledge and skills such as communication skills and active listening by working at a nursery twice a week. Whilst working at this nursery, I’ve been quick on my feet, staying organized and using my time management skills, as well as working closely with the team to gain more insight and build on my team-working skills and i finished June 2025 with my level 2 childcare but considering i have 2 younger sisters that i’ve also babysitted and now i am looking too work full-time.
