About Me

Hello! We are a loving family of 3 looking for a caring, kind, reliable and responsible after-school nanny to look after my 2 children. E is 11 years old and D is 7 years old. I would like someone with a few year's experience and/or references, and someone who lives near the Teddington / Twickenham areas. This is not a necessity but will make it a little easier if we’re closer to each other and you do not drive.

My main requirement at the moment is collecting D from school and looking after him at my home until I return home from work, which is generally around 7/7.30 pm. This would be 3 days a week. On occasion I may need to go into the office extra days a week (this is not often), and I would need your help with the kids, but I will always know long beforehand if this is the case and can confirm it with you first.

I would also appreciate flexibility around my workdays as I may not have the same days in the office every week, but I will do my best to keep them Tuesday to Thursday. I will of course give you notice of when I would plan to go into the office and when I would be working from home etc.

D started year 3 of primary school and E her first year in secondary this September. E will come home from school herself, so no need to worry about her, but I would appreciate helping the kids with their homework (if you are able, lord knows I have no idea how to do any of it), playing with them or just being a loving presence while you watch tv.

We also have a little dog called Oreo. If you don’t mind, I’d appreciate it if you could take her for a little walk once in a while before school pick up, which isn’t too far away. She will also obviously be at home with you and the children, so a dog/animal lover is a necessity.

This is currently mainly an after-school job, but we would also consider more hours/days for say half terms and perhaps weekend/evening “babysitting” if you were interested. I also have a big family, there are 7 cousins in total, so if you were keen on babysitting roles outside your nanny role with me, I’m sure my family would love to hire someone we all trusted to look after our babies.
