Hi, my name’s Emma. I’m a local mum of two little girls, aged 5 and 1, and I know first-hand how important it is for parents to feel comfortable, confident, and reassured about who is caring for their children.
I have a strong background in customer-facing roles and recently took the leap to start my own children’s arts and crafts business, which has come from my love of being creative and working with families. I absolutely love arts and crafts, messy play, and creating a safe, fun, and caring environment where children feel happy and supported.
Like most parents, I understand the realities and challenges of childcare and how valuable it is to have someone reliable, friendly, and easy to get along with. I’m always happy to be an extra pair of hands — whether that’s playing with the children, helping with routines, or giving parents some well-earned time to themselves.
My family means everything to me, and I’m trying to build a life around them while supporting other families wherever I can. Alongside running my own business, I’m looking for something that fits around this busy chapter and allows me to continue doing what I love most, helping children feel safe, cared for, and encouraged to be themselves.
My Experience
I have experience working with children through running my own business, where I plan and deliver sessions, supervise children and create a safe, engaging environment. I am also a mum of two, so I am confident with routines, play and supporting children's needs at different stages. I have a strong background in customer service, which means I communicate well with parents and understand the importance of trust and reliability. I am currently studying my HNC in Early Years Practice to continue developing my knowledge.
My Qualifications
Experienced in caring for children aged 1-9, including arts and crafts, sensory play and daily routines. CPR and first aid trained. Have a PVG. Friendly, reliable and creative approach to childcare, whilst currently studying my HNC.
My Availability
My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
- Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)
My babysitting rate starts from £12 per hour and my nanny rate starts at £15 per hour depending on hours and responsibilities. Rates include full childcare, supervision, light meals or snack if required and optional creative activities such as arts and crafts sessions at £15 per hour.
