My name is Katy and I am the childminder at Wise Owl Childcare. I offer a nurturing, home-from-home setting inspired by Hygge and The Curiosity Approach with a strong connection to nature.
My Experience
I am mummy to 2 lovely, cheeky little boys Jacob (4) and Harry (1), have a passion for music and I’m fascinated by child development.
I am also a qualified primary teacher with a wide range of experience and knowledge of Special Educational Needs, including severe learning difficulties.
My Qualifications
PGCE Primary Education with QTS
Bachelor of Music degree
Paediatric First Aid trained
Introductory Training course (Ofsted recognised) - working with EYFS, recording development, safeguarding, developing learning and managing a childminding setting
Designated Safeguarding Lead trained
Operation Encompass trained
Makaton level 1 trained
