About Me
Hi, I’m Ellanor — I’m 25 and looking for flexible childcare work in Gloucestershire. After a few years in the busy corporate and arts worlds, I’ve realised my heart lies in early years education and will be starting an Early Years PGCE in September 2026. I have lived in Stroud since having graduated from the University of Bristol with a BA in Theatre and Film in June 2024. I have a car, a full clean licence, and have had enhanced DBS checks for previous childcare and care roles (including Playworker at Barnardo’s and domiciliary carer).
I’m creative, love the outdoors, animals, cooking, baking, reading, and writing.
My Experience
I’ve always loved working with children — I spent a year as an au pair in Italy and separately was a part time au-pair for a family of four kids under 8 for 5 years, and worked as a Playworker at Barnardos with children with SEN. I’ve recently completed First Aid Responder training and plan to add the paediatric level soon.
My Qualifications
Although I don’t currently have any childcare qualifications, I am starting an early years PGCE in September 26.
My Availability
I’m currently fully available for part- or full-time childcare, ideally Monday to Friday, though I can be flexible. I’d prefer a non-live-in role but am happy to commute locally.
