About Me
I’m 27 years old. I have over four years of experience working as a Teaching Assistant at a Primary School, primarily within Key Stage One. During this time, I worked closely with reception aged children and also ran my own drama classes for Years 2, 3, 5, and 6. Drama is a real passion of mine, and I loved using it to help children build confidence, express themselves creatively, and have fun while learning.
After my time at that school I joined a bigger primary as a one to one Teaching Assistant within Key Stage Two. While I’ve enjoyed supporting the children there, I’ve realised that my true passion lies in working with younger children in a more nurturing, home based environment. I’m therefore hoping to transition into a childminder or nanny role after the Christmas period.
My Experience
Im patient, caring, and reliable person who genuinely loves spending time with children and helping them grow and develop. As a mum to a 10 year old boy myself, I understand the importance of balancing care, play, and learning and I always aim to create a warm, safe, and fun atmosphere where children can thrive. I believe that children learn best through play and positive experiences, and I enjoy supporting their development in both fine and gross motor skills, communication, and social interaction. Working in primary schools for five years now I am Confident supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), using tailored strategies to promote positive behaviour and participation.
