About Me
Hello,
I’m Eloise (Ellie) Mooney - a 25 year old qualified and experienced nanny who is looking for a family to support during the week part time. I’m currently working part time with a supply teaching agency working in primary schools and nurseries. This allows me to be flexible and choose what days each week I would like to work. I originally was nannying two days a week (10-4) however their little one has started nursery so I’m hoping to find another family to nanny for with similar hours 1-4 days a week.
With 5+ years of hands on nursery experience, Paediatric first aid certified and a DBS checked I wanted to offer a safe, caring and reliable childcare for families in a place where children feel comfortable and safe in their own home. I follow your home routines that suit your children. I also offer babysitting to families who would like a little extra support especially during those half terms; or whether it’s for a night out, weekend help, or a one-off emergency. I’ve got experience working with children from 3 months old to 10 years old including SEND children.
Here’s a little more about me:
I’m very family oriented and enjoy doing a family dog walk along the beach or going out for some breakfast. I often spend my evenings having some tea with the candles lit and watching a film. I’m currently renovating a house with my partner and wanted to spend my weekends doing something I love- childcare! Whilst I was working in a nursery, I noticed some parents struggle finding childcare during the school holidays due to not having close help available so I wanted to offer my service in a place a child knows best and feels safe - home!
My Experience
Throughout 2 year course at college studying childcare and education, I did many placements in schools and nurseries. After college, I got offered a job with one of my placements in a nursery. I worked in the baby room for just over 2 years which I loved. I then worked in a different nursery where I gained experienced working with children from the age of 6 months to 4 years and was there for 3 years.
My Qualifications
CACHE - level 3 in childcare and education
Certificate in Prevent Duty and Fundamental British Values
Certificate in Exemplary Practice with Babies
Level 2 - Food safety and Hygiene
Full Paediatric first aid
My Availability
I’m currently working as supply in schools on a flexible weekly rota therefore maybe able to accommodate to what you’re needing. Please note I’m not looking for any childminding jobs school pick ups/drop off as the hours wouldn’t be beneficial for me.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)
For babysitting for weekends
£15per hour
Minimum charge of £28 per booking to cover time and travel. Thank you!

We want to say a public thank you to our nanny Ellie, who stayed with us for almost 6 months looking after baby Emilia and our 5 years old daughter Izzy. Ellie was the best nanny we ever had! She is so loving, caring, gentle and creative. She always brings new ideas how to spend time with kids, knows how to convince them to eat and sleep, or in a very clever, playful way sets the boundaries if needed. Our daughters loved spending their time with you and I hope we will continue to develop this beautiful friendship while inviting you to babysit for the girls. Ellie has been great at every stage. Most importantly the kids loved her and had a great time and we'll absolutely be asking her back.
Ellie took the time to ask details about what the kids liked and didn't like as well as the important things like allergies medical requirements etc.
She visited us to get to know the family before the first actual baby sitting booking, and was still happy to be flexible given that my youngest son slept through that entire session 🤦
I first went to Ellie in a bit of panic as a pre booked sitter hadn't turned and she was really helpful in trying to find a way she could support what we were looking for at literally a few hours notice. We didn't end up needing her service that time but booked in a future session.
Ellie made sure the kids were fed and they were both soundly asleep by the time we got home. They haven't stopped taking about her and asking when she'll be back.
She's a reliable, trustworthy and thoughtful person to be comfortable with giving her the privilege/burden (delete as appropriate from hour to hour) of caring for your children.
