Hello,
I’m Eloise (Ellie) Mooney - a 24 year old qualified and experienced nanny who does occasional babysitting during half terms and weekends.
With 5+ years of hands on nursery experience, first aid certified and a DBS checked I wanted to offer a safe, caring and reliable childcare for families in a place where children feel comfortable and safe in their own home. I follow your home routines that suit your children. I also offer babysitting to families who would like a little extra support especially during those half terms; or whether it’s for a night out, weekend help, or a one-off emergency.
Here’s a little more about me:
I’m very family oriented and enjoy doing a family dog walk along the beach or going out for some breakfast. I often spend my evenings having some tea with the candles lit, catching up on some tv shows. I’m currently renovating a house with my partner and wanted to spend my weekends doing something I love- childcare! Whilst currently still working at a nursery, I’ve noticed some parents struggle finding childcare during the school holidays, so I wanted to offer my service in a place a child knows best and feels safe - home!
My Experience
Throughout 2 year course at college studying childcare and education, I did many placements in schools and nurseries. After college, I got offered a job with one of my placements in a nursery. I worked in the baby room for just over 2 years which I loved. I currently now work in a different nursery where I’ve experienced working with children from the age of 6 months to 4 years and have been there currently just over three years. I’ve also had some experience with SEND children.
My Qualifications
CACHE - level 3 in childcare and education
Certificate in Prevent Duty and Fundamental British Values
Certificate in Exemplary Practice with Babies
Level 2 - Food safety and Hygiene
Full Paediatric first aid
My Availability
My availability is Monday to Friday starting in April for nannying. Starting now weekends for babysitting.
My Fees
- Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)
For babysitting for weekends
£12 per hour
+£2/hr per sibling
£15/hr after 10pm
Minimum charge of £24 per booking to cover time and travel. Thank you!

Ellie has been great at every stage. Most importantly the kids loved her and had a great time and we'll absolutely be asking her back.
Ellie took the time to ask details about what the kids liked and didn't like as well as the important things like allergies medical requirements etc.
She visited us to get to know the family before the first actual baby sitting booking, and was still happy to be flexible given that my youngest son slept through that entire session 🤦
I first went to Ellie in a bit of panic as a pre booked sitter hadn't turned and she was really helpful in trying to find a way she could support what we were looking for at literally a few hours notice. We didn't end up needing her service that time but booked in a future session.
Ellie made sure the kids were fed and they were both soundly asleep by the time we got home. They haven't stopped taking about her and asking when she'll be back.
She's a reliable, trustworthy and thoughtful person to be comfortable with giving her the privilege/burden (delete as appropriate from hour to hour) of caring for your children.
