My Experience

I have gained valuable experience working in both nursery and residential childcare settings, developing a strong understanding of how to support children’s learning, development, and emotional wellbeing. In the nursery, I worked closely with young children to create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where they could explore, learn, and build early social skills. I supported daily routines, planned engaging activities, and communicated effectively with parents and colleagues to ensure each child’s individual needs were met. In the children’s home, I worked with young people who had more complex emotional and behavioural needs, providing consistent care, guidance, and emotional support. This experience helped me build strong skills in safeguarding, behaviour management, and promoting positive relationships, as well as a deep commitment to helping children reach their full potential in a supportive and caring environment.

My Qualifications

I am a dedicated childcare professional with Level 3 and Level 5 qualifications in Childcare, as well as Safeguarding and Paediatric First Aid training. I am passionate about supporting children’s development in a safe, caring, and stimulating environment, ensuring every child feels valued and encouraged to reach their full potential.

My Availability

I work in a nursery 4 days a week so I can occasionally work in the week but can definitely do weekends.
