About Me

Danica's Learning Stars Childminding
First and foremost I am a mum and have been a qualified nurse for over 12 years with a wealth of experience. I started my EYFS journey nearly 2 years ago and wanted to tailor a setting to provide home from home care with good quality education and experiences.

My Experience

I have worked in a childminder setting as an assistant, I developed bonds with my key children and really got to know them and their families to personalise their development. I have been undertaking my level 6 qualification as a student teacher and currently working on my level 3 educator course. I have completed my level 2 childcare qualification.

My Qualifications

Level 2 childcare
Working towards level 3 (and 6)
Full first aid, DBS, level 2 food hygiene.
Various safeguard, prevent and DSL courses completed.
Child mental health, self harm prevention, neuroscience.
