About Me
Hello i'm Ellie!! I am a 21 year old student attending the University of bath, I am in my second year of studying Education with psychology. I am the eldest of four and I absolutely love working with children after my experience in a nursery and my previous nannying experiences.
For the last year I have nannied for a family with 3 children aged 6 months, 3 and 5 years old. I believe I have the capabilities and skills to continue to do well in this job area including school pick ups, bedtime, morning help, and any other requirements you may have. I am very organised, reliable and respectful of how different people parent and function! I take pride in being a trustworthy, nurturing caregiver who builds lasting relationships with both children and parents. My goal is to support families by ensuring their children feel loved, safe, and inspired every day.

My Experience
Provided attentive care for nursery children aged [2-4]
Organised educational and creative activities, including arts and crafts, story time, and outdoor play during the holidays/half term at the nursery I have worked at for over a year now.
Managed meals/snack and nap routines.
Communicated regularly with parents to discuss daily updates of how the day went.
Started working July 2024 at West Exe Nursery School, mainly do holiday club however I have worked during term time to help them out when there are staffing shortages!
I became a primary mentor in my early years of secondary school. Within this role, I had the responsibility of supporting and caring for primary school students. I thoroughly enjoyed this experience, gaining skills that involved collaboration, leadership, and communication.
I have experience nannying for a family with children aged 0–5, supporting their morning routines, school and nursery pick-ups, and bedtime. My responsibilities included preparing the children for the day, organising activities, assisting with meals, and ensuring they were settled and comfortable in the evening.
My Qualifications
BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Biomedical Science, 9 GCSE's, UK driving licence since April 2023, Enhanced DBS.
Drivers licence (if in Exeter) access to my car, however not brought to university this year.
My Availability
Whilst at university, my timetable may vary but for the foreseeable future I am available Mondays.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £13.00 per hour
- Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)
When predominantly babysitting, happy to do £13 per hour
