About Me

I'm Priya, my husband is Vivek, and my daughter is Lila. She's our first baby and she's so fun! Very smiley, love people, and being sung/read to. We are both back to work full time in the near future so we are looking for some help with little Lila.

In Search of a Nanny (Part-Time to Full-Time Transition)
Days & Hours Required:
January – February: 3-5 half days per week (approximately 20-25 hours, flexible on days)
From March: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9am – 6pm

Start Date: January
Location: Tower Bridge, E1 (near St Katherine's Docks)
Ages of Child: 10 months old (in January)

We are a small family based near Tower Bridge (E1) is looking for a nurturing and proactive nanny to care for our baby daughter, who will be 10 months old this January. The role will begin part-time in January and transition to full-time in March, when both parents return to work.

This position will suit someone calm, experienced with babies, and confident creating engaging routines that support early learning and development. The family values a nanny who is warm, attentive, and truly focused on the baby’s wellbeing and growth. We are interested in someone who has demonstrated their focus on early childhood development.

Duties:
The nanny will have full responsibility for the baby’s daily routine, including preparing bottles and cooking baby's meals, managing naps/schedule, planning sensory and developmental activities, and taking her to local playgroups or outings.

Light household duties related to the baby — such as laundry, tidying play areas, and keeping the nursery organised — are part of the role, but the focus is entirely on the baby’s care and development. Only if time allows, regular tidying of the home and laundry duties would be a big bonus.

As the position becomes full-time, the nanny will continue to support the child’s milestones, independence, and confidence through creative, nurturing play.

Skills and other requirements:
Minimum 3–5 years with babies and toddlers
English required; a second language is a plus (Spanish, Hindi, Gujarati)
