About Our Family
We’re a warm, creative family based in Sunbury-upon-Thames, myself (Devon), my husband Mark, our one-year-old son Ace, and our dog Earl. Ace is a happy, smiley little boy who loves being outdoors, exploring parks, and playing with his favourite cars and balls and music . Mark works full-time, and I work part-time and am self-employed, often from home. Our days are filled with laughter, good food, and plenty of time outside with Ace and Earl — we love a relaxed, nurturing home environment that’s full of curiosity and joy.
My Requirements
What We’re Looking For in a Nanny
We’re looking for a caring, confident, and proactive nanny to become part of our family. Ideally, we’d love someone who has an interest or background in early years education and enjoys helping little ones learn through play. Cooking nutritious meals and encouraging healthy habits are important to us, as is keeping screen time to a minimum (we actually don’t do any). The role would be one full day (8–6 or 10–8) and one half day (10–2) each week — usually Tuesday and Friday — but we’re like someone who is flexible and swap days when needed. It would be a bonus if you could occasionally stay later or help with babysitting. We’d really value someone who brings warmth, initiative, and a love for helping our son grow and explore the world. We would be hiring on a self-emplyed basis.
