About Me
My name is Emma Scott and I am an Ofsted-registered childminder based in Whitworth, Rossendale. I live with my husband and four children. All people over 16 years old who live in my household have been DBS checked.
In my setting, Tiny Trails Childcare, children are welcomed into a warm, caring, and home-from-home environment where they feel safe, valued, and excited to learn. I follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) to support every area of your child’s development, with a special focus on outdoor play, a love of books, and inclusion for all.
My Experience
I am fully qualified and trained to care for children, with over 20 years of personal and professional experience, including caring for and supporting children with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) and their families.
My Qualifications
I hold an NVQ Level 3 in Early Years Care and Education,
NCFE CACHE Level 3 Award in Preparing to Work in Home-based Childcare,
Level 4 Diploma in Child Psychology,
TQUK Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Nutrition and Health,
Paediatric First Aid Training,
Lead Practitioner Safeguarding Training.

8am - 6pm
Some flexibility and ad-hoc weekend care could be arranged.
