After School Nanny Job In Plymouth
About Me
I am 48, married to Darren and we have two beautiful children together, Maiya 8 and Charlie 5. I also have a step son, Harrison who is 17 and lives with his mum. I work as a Personal Advisor for Care Leavers age 15-25. Dad is a PCSO. This means some shift work for dad but this is a four week pattern so we can plan around. The nature of my job is making it difficult to get away early so we have decided a child minder/babaysitter would be the best way to create a consistent routine which is particularly important for our youngest. I love to read and Darren loves sport ( watching mostly due to his age catching up with him).
My Requirements
I have a five year old boy Charlie and eight year old girl Maiya who need collecting from school on Monday, Tuesdays, Thursday and Fridays. My youngest is currently waiting to be assessed by CDC for autism/ADHD and has an EHCP in place. He is a beautiful, bubbly, happy and funny little boy who loves to laugh and imaginative play. However he can find busy times at school overwhelming so he will be finishing at 3:20pm annd his sister finishes at 3:30pm but comes out through reception so it is easy to wait. except on Fridays when they finish at 3pm. We are hoping to find the right child minder/babysitter for the children so we can get into a regular routine with regard to after school. This would be until 6 pm on each day you work and could be for just Charlie or Charlie and his sister. They could be looked after at our home which is a 5 min walk from the school and would enable Charlie to feel settled. Due to dad’s work schedule you would not be required all of the above days every week so there is some flexibility. Please get in touch if you feel you could work with us.
