About Me

A dedicated and caring Nursery Practitioner with experience supporting children across nursery, preschool, Forest School and after-school settings. Currently studying a Level 5 qualification in Early Childhood Studies, with a strong understanding of child development and the importance of creating safe, engaging and nurturing environments where children can thrive. Passionate about building positive relationships with children and their families, using play-based learning to encourage confidence, independence and development. Looking to build on my experience with the long-term goal of becoming a private nanny.

My Experience

Since February 2025, I have gained valuable childcare experience through private babysitting for family friends, providing safe, reliable and personalised care while supporting children’s daily routines and development. I worked as a Nursery Practitioner at Sleepy Hollow Nursery & After Schools from October 2025 to April 2026, primarily within the preschool room, where I supported children’s learning and development through a range of play-based and structured activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage. Since May 2026, I have been working as a Nursery Practitioner at Peter’s Patch Day Nursery & After Schools, mainly within the Forest School and after-school club, supporting children’s learning through outdoor play, exploration and child-led activities while promoting confidence, independence and positive relationships in a safe and engaging environment.

My Qualifications

I am currently studying a Level 5 qualification in Early Childhood Studies. I also hold a GCSE in Child Development and achieved both a Safeguarding Certificate and a Challenging Behaviour Certificate through Belfast Met in 2026, further developing my knowledge of child protection, positive behaviour support and best practice in early years settings.
