About Me
We are a family of 5 with 3 children who have SEN needs (6,7 & 10) we also have a dog called Lexi & a cat who is called Violet.
My Requirements
I am looking for someone who is either trained or is willing to be trained on SEN needs including epilepsy (tonic clonics and focal seizures- requiring Rescue medication Buccolam Midazolam) to help out sporadically Saturday evenings from January onwards and a possible option for weekday evenings in the future but for now I will just need Saturday evenings.
We have just taken over Ninja Noodle bar in Burnham and I am to start with looking for someone who would be happy to build a relationship with my children so that I have someone reliable around for hospital appointments in the future (my middle son is on the pathway for brain surgery) and also evenings out for me and my partner. Both my son's have an EHCP (which I would be happy to send across for you to look at prior) with one attending a SEMH school and another in Mainstream with a LA monitoring him. I do also have seizure care plans for them and I can forward the epilepsy nurses details to get specialised epilepsy training if you are comfortable.
My daughter is also on the pathway to being diagnosed autistic. We are currently based in W-S-M but we are moving in January. I am looking for someone ideally to start for a couple hours of say a Saturday evening where I would only be next door (my house would back onto the place I will be) but at the end of February I have an event to go to and I'd like said person to be settled and confident enough with my children. I will only be in W-S-M for said event but I do know how daunting epilepsy can be for some people.
I do also have a dog and a cat.
