About Me
I am a loving, enthusiastic, patient and caring person who enjoys looking after children. I am a Swimming teacher and have worked with children for the last 3 years at a range of ages (3-16) and I have also worked with SEN children, so I understand what requires to look after them whilst keeping them happy and safe. I am also a good listener and communicator. On the side I am a student at university doing a degree in professional music and I also am a competitive trampolinist at an elite level.
My Experience
I have been teaching children since 2022, with a variety of ages, but most commonly I have worked with ages 3-12. I also understand safeguarding in all regards and the importance of it and have a safeguarding qualification. I thoroughly enjoy teaching children and being around children, and swimming is something I am still very passionate about. I am also very good at communicating to both parents and children. With SEN children, I am aware of how adaptive you have to be and the skills required like patience and understanding, and I have taught SEN children before so have a great understanding of what it requires.
My Qualifications
I am a qualified level 1 SEQ swimming teacher (2022), I have a valid DBS, full UK driving licence (2023) and access to a car, and SEN experience. I also have a safeguarding and protection of children qualification (2024). And I teach trampolining on the side and am working towards the qualification.
My Availability
I am in university 4 times a week and train trampolining Monday, Thursday and Friday evenings, but other than that I have a pretty flexible schedule.
