My Summary

My Experience

I have several years of experience with various different ages and stages of children. I have done plenty of babysitting over the years, from children age 2 to 8. For the past 3 years I have been working in a SEND school with children age 4-7 with complex needs. During my time I worked closely with Speech and Language therapists, Occupational therapists and Educational psychologists to support the children I worked with. I also have first hand experience with caring for children with epilepsy. I loved my job but have now left and am in my first year, studying towards a degree and diploma in early childhood education and care. I have also completed some nannying jobs, most recently caring for 4 children age 2-7. We went on many adventures over the summer such as a zoo visit, soft play and various different national trust sites.

My Qualifications

I have an advanced DBS, on the update service, paediatric first aid, food hygiene level 2 and safeguarding training. I also undertook a level 2 Makaton course two years ago and have had training in various topics such as emotional regulation, gestalt language processing and sensory regulation delivered by Speech and Language and Occupational Therapists. I also have specific seizure training.

My Availability

I am available most evenings and weekends,and can be flexible with hours.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £13.00 per hour

Minimum £13 per hour for up to 3 children, an extra pound per child for any more children. Open to any negotiations :)
