About Me
I graduated with a 2.1 in Spanish and English Literature from the University of Edinburgh this summer, and I am keen to help high school pupils in these areas, either before exams or National 5 to Advanced Higher. I am a friendly, sociable person, 22 years old, based in Edinburgh, and I am very happy to do in person or online lessons. I love languages and I really want to help others discover this joy!
My Experience
I studied both English and Spanish to Advanced Higher level in High School, and then in University. I have a writing talent that comes very naturally to me - I am also currently studying an MA in Screenwriting. I also really enjoy Spanish and have about a C1 level in the language. When I was on my year abroad in Spain, I made the effort to really integrate with the people and I became as close to fluent as I could get. I've also studied the language in great detail in my degree, as well as having real-life experience of how people actually speak it. I have worked many hospitality jobs where communication and team-work is essential, and I love chatting and getting on with lots of people.
My Qualifications
I achieved straight A's in National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher English and Spanish. I also received a 2.1 in my undergraduate degree.
My Availability
I am at University on Mondays and Tuesdays, but basically any other time in the week between 9 until the evening works for me.
