My Requirements

Days & Hours:
Monday, Wednesday & Thursday – 8:30am to 5:30pm starting 5th January. We have a current Nanny who is moving abroad.

About the Role:
We’re looking for someone reliable, safety-focused and proactive to care for our toddler aged 2 during the day and help with our two older children who turn 7 and 5 in January after school and during school holidays. I work from home on and off, so I need someone confident and comfortable working with a parent in and out of the house.

What the day involves:
• Constant, active supervision (safety is very important to us)
• Taking him out every day – park, classes, bus trips, soft play, etc. He loves being out and about, and we’re very happy for you to use buses and local transport
• Setting up engaging activities at home (crafts, sensory play, simple learning, puzzles, building, etc.)
• Preparing snacks and cooking a healthy dinner for the children using fresh ingredients
• Keeping the kitchen, playroom and living areas tidy throughout the day
• Keeping the children’s bedrooms tidy
• Folding/hanging the children’s laundry occasionally

Requirements:
• Enhanced DBS (current & clear)
• Experience with toddlers and good references
• Very reliable and punctual
• Confident taking children out in all weather
• Proactive and happy to plan the day
• Comfortable with parents working from home
• Fluent English
