About Me
We are a family of 3 -and a cat!- based in Hither Green (South East London) looking for a caring and experienced babysitter for our 1-year-old daughter.
We are currently looking for 1 day per week, starting in March (flexible on the exact date). This is a live-out position. There may also be the possibility of occasional additional babysitting as needed.
We’re looking for someone with experience caring for younger babies. Relevant childcare qualifications are a plus. Fluency in Italian is highly desirable, as we speak Italian at home while she attends an English-speaking nursery.
We would love someone who enjoys planning age-appropriate activities such as reading, singing, sensory play, creative play, outdoor walks, and supporting early language and motor development in a gentle, engaging way.
Main duties include:
- Engaging, attentive childcare
- Preparing simple meals for the baby
- Light baby-related housekeeping (e.g. baby laundry washing and drying)
Ofsted registration is optional but highly valued. DBS check and references are required.
